Heathfield Art and Books is an independent bookshop and art gallery which prides itself on offering a friendly and efficient level of service.
The staff are experienced and knowledgeable about the book trade and can offer a book search and quick, no deposit ordering service. We can order titles from small, private publishers that are possibly unobtainable from online providers or larger stores. Place an order in person, by telephone or email.

Books

The shop also sells and redeems national book tokens, which will shortly
be changing from a paper to a giftcard scheme, in line with other store
cards.
Stationery
We have a stationery range that includes cards by Simon Drew, The National
Gallery, Natural History Museum, Country Living and Royal Academy of Arts,
Punch and New Yorker.
Gifts
We now stock wooden bookends and jigsaws
by Lanka Kade. Designed in England and made in a village in
Sri Lanka from sustainable rubber wood,
these colourful jigsaws are fun and educational and
the bookends are bright, practical and encourage children
to keep their favourite books tidy!
We also now stock jigsaw puzzles from Orchard Toys.
Designed for all ages, they will keep children busy for hours...
Art Supplies
There is a general art supplies section in the shop; with brushes, pads
and boxes of paints and an ordering service for articles that we do not
have in stock.
Art Gallery
The gallery shows work by local artists and offers a wide choice of subject matter, painting mediums and price range. For details of our occasional and popular 'meet the artist' days, please use the link on the home page.
OUR ARTISTS
Picture Framing
Our framing service can provide replacement of broken glass, stretching
of canvas and cross stitch work and bespoke, hand-finished frames. If
you cannot find a suitable frame from our extensive samples in the shop,
the framer will be happy to suggest the right one for your requirements.
